WE ARE BACK!!!!

Peace family,

I am sorry for the delay, but my hosting company was having difficulties.  I will have a new mix for you very soon in the next day or so.  Thank so much for the love and support.  I received all your emails, messages, texts, tweets, etc... You all mean very much to me and I do this because I love music and love to share it with you.

A few days ago we lost one of my idols, Michael Jackson.  What can I say that hasn't been said.  He helped shape my musical tastes.  May he rest in peace.

By the way, if you were a registered member of the exclusive podcast, you would be listening to a new mix right now!!!!!

You can become a CASAMENA Radio Hour member right now and receive exclusive, special mixes every month, and other goodies  for $1.89 per month.  Join here.

Did you know we have new music out on Ocha Records?   YES!!!  Ezel feat Dinji Brown!

Ocha Records proudly presents the debut single from Ezel. This young talent is already making a name for himself with remixes on Yoruba, Ocha, and solo projects for Franck Roger, Boddhi Satva and Halo’s City Deep. “Secreto” is the title track from Ezel’s forthcoming full-length release “Secreto” on Ocha Records. A very deep affair, that gives you organic percussion, mysterious vocals by Carlos Mena, while Ezel takes you on an afro-tech ride that you will not soon forget. Next up on this release is “Thunderbolts”, also from the upcoming “Secreto” album, and features the powerful vocals of our brother Djinji Brown. “Thunderbolts will rock any dancefloor!

Here is what some of house music’s top DJ’s and tastemakers are saying:
Louie Vega (Masters at Work) - Thunderbolts - Hot underground track, a Roots/Dance Ritual NYC stomper!!!”
Ron Trent (Prescription/Future Vision) - Powahhhh!
Master Kev (Code Red, NYC) – “Hot! Ezel & Djinji Brown team up to bring a dope jam that will rock any dance floor. Full Support!”
Lars Behrenroth (Deeper Shades of House, deepershades.net) – “Deep, organic, driving and hitting all the right spots. Strong debut single which makes me very curious about more. Both tracks are in heavy rotation…”
Jojo Flores (GotSoul/Therapy/Cielo) – “Ezel comes correct with Secreto. This track definitely works the dancefloor!”
Rafael Moraes (Nomumbah/Yoruba) – “Secreto is DOPE!”
Trinidadian Deep (Prescription/Future Vision) – “Fyah Pon Dem!”
Boddhi Satva (Offering/Vega) – “Fresh and creative, Ezel and Djinji have done something really nice.”
Charles Spencer (Loveslap) – “Ezel has crafted a deep underground talisman with Thunderbolts.”
Atjazz (Atjazz Record Co.) – “Future afro sweat, one of the best new deep sounds around. Awesome music food here!”
Greg Gautier (Dance Culture, Paris) - Deep, black techy energy for the dancers, gonna be a nice one @ dance culture... love it !!!

Whats good Carlos?! I am from Bay but my crew and I were out in NY for House Dance International competition just weeks back and caught you at the Sullivan room party - great set man...as always.

We put together a little clip that captured some of the energy from our trip/event - Thunderbolts was the music that captured the vibe perfectly. Please take a look, hope you like it.
